Bob was born on the Isle of Alfalfa, located just off the coast of South Dakota. His athletic skills were shaped to an extent by his early experiences on the farm. To this day he can only hit a backhand with an aluminum scoop shovel. In keeping with an old South Dakota custom, young Bob was soon exchanged for livestock. To this day his footwork can be enhanced
only by placing a mean cow on the court with him. To his credit, Bob still holds South Dakota records in several events, including high jump, shot put, and doughnut inhalation. He is a versatile player, and one heck of a cook.
